Enjoy the Adventure
Ethiopia is considered as one of the top birding destinations in Africa with more than 800 species, of which more than 600 are resident or presumed resident and the remainder are Palaearctic or intra-African migrants. Birdwatching tours in Ethiopia are normally focused on the southern area although there are also some endemics found in the northern part of Ethiopia. Travelling through the Rift Valley, the Awash National Park or Yabello surroundings will provide you the perfect introduction to African birds as any other country and the fascinating experience to observe a rich variety of birdlife.
